2018 "South American" Viognier
This collaboration between the Morro Bay Maritime Museum and Kelsey See Canyon Vineyards commemorates the South American, a half-clipper of Boston origin. Launched in 1876 and weighing more than 1,600 tons, this 245-foot-long ship frequented San Francisco and San Diego in the global trade of California agricultural commodities.
The 2018 "South American" is a full-bodied Viognier with aromas of jasmine and orange blossoms, comingled with flavors of sweet lime and honeydew melon. To help preserve our maritime history, Kelsey Winery is donating 30% of the proceeds to the Morro Bay Maritime Museum.
3rd Annual Maritime Series Wine.
